Creating your account and first login
Everything starts with a Pricemaster account created on pricemaster.ai — you cannot sign in to the app without one. Here is the whole path from signing up to landing on your first dashboard.
Everything begins at pricemaster.ai
Pricemaster lives at two addresses, and it catches people out on day one. The marketing site, pricemaster.ai, is where accounts are created. The app, app.pricemaster.ai, is where you actually work — and it has no sign-up form of its own.
pricemaster.ai
The public site. Sign up here, and read these docs. You visit it once to register and rarely again.
app.pricemaster.ai
The application. Products, competitors, margins, rules, reports. This is the one to bookmark once you are in.
The one exception: if a member of the Pricemaster team built your account for you — common where setup involves a custom import or a more complex brand configuration — then your login already exists. Go straight to app.pricemaster.ai and sign in with the details you were given.
Creating your account
Signing up is two short screens on pricemaster.ai. Nothing is connected and no data is imported at this stage — you are just creating the login.
Go to pricemaster.ai/signup
The first thing the form asks is your account type — whether you are a retailer or a brand. Pick the one that describes your business; it shapes what the app is built around for you.
Not sure which you are? Brand and retail accounts compared.
Create your login
Either Sign up with Google, or enter your name, email address and a password of at least 10 characters. Whichever you choose is how you will sign in from then on, so if you start with Google, keep using Google.
Add your company details
The next screen asks for your company name, your industry and a contact telephone number. All three are required, and the phone number is genuinely used — it is how the team reaches you if something in your setup needs a hand.
You are taken into the app
Your account is created and you are redirected straight to app.pricemaster.ai. You do not need to sign in again, and there is no confirmation email to wait for before you can continue.
Adding your first site
An account is not the same as a site. Your account is you; a site is one store or one brand catalogue, with its own products, competitors, margins and rules. A brand-new account has no sites yet, so the app opens on the site selection screen with nothing to choose from.
Choose Add a site
This is the only route forward on a fresh account, and the same button you will use later to add a second store.
Confirm what kind of business this site is
You will be asked again whether this is a retail or a brand site. That is deliberate rather than a glitch — the answer is stored per site, not per login, so one account can hold both a brand catalogue and a retail store.
Pick where your products live
Retail sites choose from Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Google Sheets or Linnworks. Brand sites choose Google Sheets, FTP/SFTP or Linnworks.
Not sure? Choose your setup path builds the exact sequence for your combination.
Complete the connection, then import
Each platform has its own short guide covering exactly which credentials to generate and where to find them. Once connected, you go on to your first product import.
Signing in from then on
- Bookmark app.pricemaster.ai, not pricemaster.ai. You have no further need for the sign-up flow.
- Sign in the same way you signed up. If you registered with Google, use the Google button rather than trying to set a password.
- Forgotten your password? Use the reset link on the login screen. It emails a link to the address you registered with.
- If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, you will be asked for your code after your password.
- Being told your account is disabled is not a password problem — contact the Pricemaster team.
Working across several sites
If you only have one site, Pricemaster takes you straight to its dashboard on every login and you can ignore this section. With more than one, it shows the picker first.
- Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to move between sites without signing out.
- Check the active site name before running a report, editing a rule, or starting an import.
- Each site keeps its own setup progress, so a second store starts its own guided setup from scratch.
- If you were invited as a reseller by a brand, their portal appears here as its own entry alongside any sites you own.
